First post!!
Hello, everyone out there in Technology Land! So, I have an announcement to make. I have lost 75 pounds. And you can, too! It won't be easy. It will be hard. Really hard. You're going to lose your focus. Sometimes, you might even CHEAT. But you know what? You just gotta keep going. The weight will not fall off if you kill yourself at the gym. Nor will it fall off if you eat burgers and fries everyday (unless you happen to be a 17 year old girl with really high metabolism...or my sister! :) ) Most of us need to stay within our calorie goals. Most of us need lots of fruits and veggies, water, whole grain, and protein. And exercise! Good heavens, please exercise! Now, I'm not suggesting that you do 3 hours of cardio classes at the gym. Start small. Try walking at first. That was my exercise of choice when I first started on this journey. Now, I am up to at LEAST 6 gym classes a week, and a few days of running. I'm hoping to run my first half marathon next year (EEK! I can't believe I just typed that!) The human body is an amazing thing, and if you feed it correctly, you will be surprised at what you can do. TTFN!
